Maybe I am old fashioned, but do kids normally sleep over each others house on school nights?

I usually reserve something like that for weekends. I think kids need a routine both at bed time and school mornings to function properly.

Does anyone have an opinion?

As the mother of two boys, age 8 and 13, I agree. No sleepovers during the week. I'm not a big fan of sleepovers anyway. They stay up way too late and they are miserable to deal with the next day due to lack of sleep.

Sleep overs are a common thing these days, because most times where the kids spend the night the parents are not there, drugs are there as well as some of the girls boyfriends.

My kids have sleepovers with their friends. They stay up late, they play video games and watch movies, they play party games like Truth or Dare, all the things kids do. The most supervision I give is a video camera so if someone says their kid got hurt at one of my kids' sleepovers and tries to sue I'm covered. I make sure no booze or weed gets in, but otherwise I let them alone.

And yes they were doing this since they were 8, now they're teenagers. And I trust them. Why don't you trust your kids?
