Confusing Feelings Towards Father

Some backstory: My mom was almost a teenage mom. She had me when she was 18. My father was not in the picture for long, and my mother never gave me too many details about that. I figured they split because he was actually younger than her when she got her pregnant, basically a kid. Honestly, I never saw him growing up.

My mother passed away a couple of years ago, but left me with the knowledge of who my father was and how to find him. I finally found the courage to reach out to him a few months ago. Despite the pandemic, we made arrangements to eventually meet. Our first meeting was awkward, but we got along well. He explained to me he was sorry for walking out on me, but he was effectively an immature kid back then, only 15, and panicked at the responsibility. He did contact my mom years later to try to make things right, but she chose to leave him out and raise me herself. So I forgave him.

We started meeting every 2 or 3 weekends, and we hit it off. But it wasn't long before I was hit by strange thought. I found him attractive. Not what one usually thinks of their parents. But with every meeting this thought has been persistent and I kinda have acted on it. Only slightly. I touch my father's arm as if flirting. I can barely gather the courage to do such a thing and then feel ashamed. It doesn't help that he has acknowledged I'm beautiful on a couple of instances. I don't think he did so flirtatiously. Or at least it didn't seem like it. I don't know, but I felt amazing when he did that.

Last time we met, I finally hugged him and we lingered in it for an odd moment. I felt his smell, I think he pressed me against him. I researched genetic sexual attraction and it kinda, sorta makes me feel less guilty about the whole thing. I'm VERY tempted to just forget who he is and go for it... He's basically a stranger to me that I have a very good time with.

Becoming attracted to someone you are related to but didn't grow up with has a name, Genetic Sexual Attraction. If you look it up you will see that it is still being debated as being a real thing or just pseudoscience.

When I met my husband we both felt a strong attraction. We dated and got married and everything was fine until after we having problems getting pregnant. He checked out fine so I started going to tons of doctors. We didn't find the problem until our genetics were tested for compatibility.

Turns out my husband is my half brother. Oops. We had been together over ten years by then. So it would have been very embarrassing to admit why we suddenly wanted a divorce. We are still together but, to make sure we didn't have mutant babies, all of our kids were made with sperm 'donated' from an ex of mine.

Having a little bit personal experience of this, in fact having kids with my father and not mutants, I suggest not to play any mindgames with yourself. I understand how you're feeling right now and there's nothing wrong with it! Admit that you're aroused of your own father and then enjoy it. If you try to lie to yourself that your father is someone else, then you're only harming both of you. Whatever you decide to do, to go full sex, or keep it civil, don't blame yourself. You won't understand it yet but you will in the future, that if you think your father as someone else, then you are blaming yourself. Don't blame yourself, because these things do happen and you're not the first one, or the last one, who have come face to face with this. Sex is sex, arousal is arousal. Everyone does it. Believe me, only confusing feeling you have is that you're pondering should you have sex or not to have sex. Your feelings are not confused.

Me and my father tried so hard to tell ourselves that we wouldn't have sex. But the next time we met, we end up in bed. I had even bought condoms for that before flight, betraying my promises, but I didn't told him I had those, and in that moment I wouldn't want anything to stop us having sex so I asked him to cum inside me.

Update: We ended up meeting this last weekend. I was extremely nervous but decided to meet with him as we had agreed before.
It ended up feeling kinda like a date. It was fun, but I was a little fidgetty because what I explained before was always in the back of my head.
As fate would have it, we were around his place when a bike passed by and splattered me with some mud (it was raining). He invited me over so I could change. He hadn't made any advances or tried to flirt as far as I could tell, so I figured there was no harm in it. But my mind was racing and, as soon as we crossed the door, my brain just exploded and I let go.
I kissed him on an impulse. He didn't stop me. Withing seconds we were on his couch, tearing each other's clothes apart. We fucked like animals. I took him bareback. My own father came inside of me. And then we fucked again.
I felt guilty immediately aferwards. I kept calm and acted like everything was fine, but as soon as he fell deep asleep, I took my things, called an Uber and stormed out. He knows where I live, but fortunately he hasn't tried to approach me. He has tried to reach me through messages, but I answered that I needed to sort out what had happened before I could try to see him again. I don't know what to do with this...

Theres nothing to feel guilty about. You're two people who are attracted to eachother. You dont really know each other and you didnt grow up with him. Just like meeting and falling for any other person in the grand scheme of things.
