The Hardest Job

I'm a tax attorney. I worked in big pharma. My coworker, also an attorney lost his wife in 2017 from ovarian cancer and somehow I am now the mom of three girls and the wife in the home. I'm a woman now. So let me tell you how a reluctant woman wound up with the hardest job known to man, woman that is.

After his wife died he hired a live in housekeeper. One day as he got ready for bed he noticed a pair of pink bikini panties on his pillow. He tossed them in the trash and told me the next day. My one and only thought was 'that bitch'. That day I fired her and I got the job. Nothing in my life prepared me for being the mom to three girls and the woman in the house with a man.

Bedtime, breakfast, school work, cooking and cleaning, groceries, and hardest of all giving every last ounce of my love, and then have to recharge and be a woman for this man. I took a leave of absence from my job. I couldn't leave, quit. Not after I fired the housekeeper. But there is a moment when you know you are where you need to be. The oldest girl was 9 and taking ballet. I took her to drop her off, her sisters in the car. She got out and told me to wait and came back with another girl and introduced her and said to her 'this is my mom'.

I decided then that being lawyer or not I'd been called to another dimension. I told this man that I would be his wife. And we got married with three beautiful flower girls. Being a mom brought out feelings in me I didn't know I had. Some might call it nurturing, I call it being a woman. I want to clear the air, I am his wife, in all the respective ways. A woman has to do these things. And my calling now is to be a woman. That's the label.

These last four years have taught me to be humble. Being Mrs. Carson is right. That's the name that teachers use. The name my stepdaughters have. When I'm asked what I do I say I'm a housewife and mom. Once upon a time I was a tax attorney. No accomplishment there.

So I'll leave you with this, becoming a woman in my early thirties is the toughest thing I've ever done. It is also the most rewarding thing I've ever experienced. If all goes well in a few months I'll give birth to a son, I will be a biological mom. I hope these four years have trained me, taught me. And he will have three older sisters who will be both his step sisters and his step moms.

Thanks,

For all who voted for your story to be removed, don't pay them any mind. Although this is a site mainly for sexual confession, I enjoy reading it. I hope that the love and respect that you have from your husband will only gets better and better as the years goes by.
