A Penis
Penis. A normal word. But it carry's so much weight. I first had to face a penis when I was 16. I sat there waiting, until he pushed me over and his penis did it's thing. I suppose I felt something but I don't remember. But he felt something, and that's what mattered. His penis felt something and that's all that mattered.
Now, all these years later I think a lot about his penis. How his penis determined my life. I don't regret my life. It is just this, his penis is not in charge anymore. Actually I feel bad, sorry. A man without a penis is not a man. Now it's a woman who is in charge. A woman who calls him to dinner, a woman who makes arrangements of where to go. A woman who calls him to bed.
Once upon a time I thought I might have resented that he had the penis. Now, it is just how it was and I'm okay with not having a penis. I'm okay, being the woman was okay. Now I'm the woman who calls him to dinner.
