Video Doorbell
I am Tom and am married to my wife Anne. One day Anne's mother Helen and her sister Julie came over. They rang our new video doorbell and were surprised when we talked to them through it. Once inside Anne showed them the features of it on her phone and what it could do. Helen and Julie liked what they saw and were now thinking about getting one themselves.
Anne gave them her phone to play around with the app to let them see how easy it was to use. They looked at the videos that had been recorded and mentioned how good the clarity of video and audio was and asked if it would work in the dark. Anne told them it does and didn't know if there was one but to just look for a video with a timestamp at night time to see for themselves. Julie and Helen found one and mentioned it worked very well in the dark and they were seeing things they never expected to. Anne asked what they were seeing. Julie replied "Tom". Anne said "That's a surprise since Tom doesn't like having his picture taken." Helen said, "From what we see it doesn't look like Tom minds at all". Anne asked to see and then showed me the phone. It was a video of me naked. Right away I was embarrassed and they asked why I was naked?
I was surprised and it took a minute before I realized how it had happened. I explained it was about 2:00am in the morning and I was about to go to bed. I realized I hadn't checked the mailbox that day so I decided to. I was naked and figured no one would see me at that hour and stepped out naked. Our mailbox is right above the doorbell so I literally was standing right in front of the doorbell cam recording me as I checked for mail. It records based on a doorbell press or motion. Since the doorbell was new I forgot it was even there. Julie made a comment, which was a play on words, about how they definitely can confirm - there's male and not female. Helen added - don't know what mail arrived that day but I see one package I wouldn't mind receiving.
We all had a laugh about it at my expense with Anne laughing her head off the most.
