Pushed And It's Time To Push Back

Twice I had to walk down to 16 to deal with an overbearing supervisor. As in the first case, the employee was wrong, she had not done her work. The supervisor, an ex Marine, wasn't one to mince words. He called her out and her feelings were hurt. I left it for hi m to manage.

A week later my boss came and told me this employee was suing the company for a toxic work environment, failure to accommodate her needs, failure to provide a rich environment for her to succeed. I fired her. Her case was without merit and the TWC found no cause.

a week passed and my rear passenger window was broken. Later, some graffiti was painted on my driveway. This time the perpetrator was caught on camera. Size, height, female, all matched. I asked the police to pursue an investigation. The spray paint she used was found in her house.

Now, here is the deal. Do I press charges for vandalism and destruction of property? She has mental issues, but that's her problem. She appears nice, but has her head scrambled. I acknowledge that I'm old school, but frankly I have lost my patience. I decided to pursue my case against her and demand restitution. Maybe a good slap on the hand will be good for her.

Sorry for the rant, I'm sure she has lots of supporters.
