I Love My Wife But...

I am a closeted bisexual male. I was very active sexually throughout my 20's and early 30's with both sexes. Although I love sex with men, I have never had more then friendships with benefits with other males. When I started dating my now wife, I made the conscious decision to be with her and only her moving forward.

We were a great match both in and out of the bedroom. That being said one of the things that attracted me to my wife in particular was her high sex drive and her willingness to explore.
We were quite happy in our relationship and despite a slow down after we had our kids, we would still have sex 3 times a week minimum.
It all started to change about 4 years ago. My wife started suffering from Anxiety and depression and our sex life began to suffer along with it. We went from 3 times a week, to 3 times a month to sometimes not having sex for 1 to 2 months in a row.

She started seeing someone and we all got into therapy but she never followed through for more then 3 sessions. It became a point of frustration for me and as supportive as I was and understanding, I started to really miss sex. Over the last 2 years we have only had sex 4 times.

I don't like to admit this But about 2 years ago I created a profile on squirt (gay and bi male dating and hookup site) and decided that since I had no attachment to men I fuck, I could easily get my fill and not feel guilty about it. Some of you may judge me but I am hoping that you understand where I am coming from.

Over the past 2 years I have found 4 regular men I can trust and satisfy my urges with. Everything was going great until I began getting much closer with one of these men then I ever had with anyone else. He is perfect, smart, handsome, easy to ask to and we mesh in the bedroom so well, often having 3 to 4 hour sex and cuddles when we meet, and he is hung like a horse. I tried to burry these feelings but last week he told me that he thinks he's falling in love with me as well and now I am torn. I am struggling with how to tell my wife that I am bisexual and have found what I believe to be my perfect match.

I love her with all my heart but it feels more like she is a great friend now then a partner. I know this will break her heart and lead her to depression and anxiety and since my children are still young (9 and 11) I really don't want it to affect them.

I just needed to get this off my chest, I didn't mean to fall in love with someone else but I know deep down, if I don't do something soon, I risk losing my new love.

I hope I can get some advice or thoughts

You have to take care of your family first. Stay married and just have your m to m liaisons on the side. Divorce will bankrupt you and you will likely lose your kids. Keep everything and everyone at home happy and just safely enjoy your other hobby.

Whatever you do don't just up and leave. That will scar your kids forever.

Talk to your wife. Tell her you love her with all your heart, but you need a physical connection. See what she says. Maybe she'll give you an opening. If she says she'll work on it, tell her it shouldn't take that much work on her part, plus she's said that before without good result.

You don't say much about your new friend. It sounds like he's single. Is he out? Maybe you can become friends out in the open, and hang out all the time like best friends do.

Just some thoughts. Wish you well. If new guy really loves you, he won't want your kids to have their lives blown up. A close relative used to say: finish one thing before you start another. It's a little late for that for you, but not for your wife and kids.
