What Are We To Do?

I posted a confession entitled "procrastination" in the 'Men Only' section about how my wife says she wants sex but her actions don't agree with her words. If it was up to her we would be intimate only when she is actually ready. Once or twice a month...maybe. We are active Christians meaning we go to church, bible study have done missions work, etc. She even taught other women about intimacy. Now we are middle aged and she is going through menopause. My drive has decreased but not as much as hers. I would give my life for hers. I believe til death do us part. But ladies there are other good Christian men in this same situation turning to other forms of pleasure. We don't want to do that. What are we to do?

I am the one who first responded to your other post who is in the same situation. The biggest point I want to make is, I never wanted to cheat. My wife is a good mom and is a great partner in everything but sex. And unless shes been lying since before we were married, she's enjoyed what we've done when we do it. Its remotely possible she could have gotten it elsewhere but I doubt it, as she is a poor liar. Some just don't seem to understand how important intimacy is in keeping your marriage solid. The other puzzling thing is, I've run across plenty of other women who made it clear they want to have sex. I've taken some up on it, I won't lie. So you wonder what their situation is at home where they want sex bad enough to cheat and not give it to your husband. As replied in your other post, there are lots of unsatisfied men out there who end up getting together because theres no where else to turn. To those who might suggest the answer is to talk to the wives about it, I beat this subject to death with her and it never does any good. We just both end up mad. And its too late in the game to start over with someone else. So you do without, try to find a willing woman in the same situation, or consider doing it with guys. I've read on here where many women seem to be getting together, so why not I guess.

I agree with the first comment but could never envisage anything with the same gender. I could have written mostly the same as he did.

My sex life stopped a long time ago. I have too much invested in my relationship to end it. However, it's difficult. There is no easy answer. Playing away from home can be dangerous but possibly necessary. Don't tell anyone not even your best friend. Good luck.

As a last resort you could always emulate those 1st century middle eastern patriarchs your holy book is based on and inform your wife that it's her duty to submit to her husband's cock and that she needs to do whatever she has to to get wet because you're fucking her whether she's ready or not.

If this leads to arguments, crying, emotional blackmail and claims you never really loved her and just wanted her pussy, tell her the other option is for her to agree you can rent women outside the marriage for your release. Since she's already made the claim that sex and love are separate things, she shouldn't have any objections other than the financial.

Quit looking to the sky gods for answers and be a man.

Hmmmm...describe your version of "be a man". Before you reply, identify your gender, age, how long you have been married, how many times you've been married and the quality of said matrimony. That will weigh heavily on my decision to consider your words.

Really not enough information to go on to give sage advice.

I'm no longer married and in my early 60s. But when I was married sex was never a problem. Dealing with menopause is difficult but if your wife gets hormone replacement therapy, that should help. Also do not be afraid to eat that pussy. Make her feel like the sexiest woman in earth and not just a vessel for your relief. Sex is like dancing, if you don't know how to lead you're going to step all over each other's feet. Seduce her, don't just expect sex because you want it. Make her want it. Also remember that the one true erogenous zone is the brain. Use yours to get into hers.

I’ve done all of the above and my wife cut it off ten years ago.
I’m considering finding a regular escort.
