Confused And Frustrated

I have been in a relationship with a guy for almost two years now and I am now FURIOUS after discovering that my partner, in his previous relationship, had an affair with his girlfriends daughter! His own stepdaughter, with whom he was living. Apparently, it was consensual and not forced, and she was of legal age, but it stills seems to me to be such an abuse of his position and his trust to be positively revolting. I have confronted him with it, he has admitted the fact and said that it was a mistake, and that he would never do something like that again. But now I can't look at him without thinking about what he might do to my own daughter, who is only ten years old. Yet the worst part is that I still love him. I don't know what to do, but I think I will just have to throw him out and cut him out of my life. I feel so frustrated, like the last two years of my life have been wasted and based on a lie.

Your words: "it was consensual and not forced, and she was of legal age." Is he touchy-feely? Hung like a moose, with that being one of the reasons you love him; the physical satisfaction he gives you?

Time to fish or cut bait. You can toss him and his equipment to the curb and spend a bunch of nights worrying about the decision and rubbing your clit to your memories or you can accept his apology as sincere, warn him about dire consequences, and have a long talk with your daughter about how improper it is for her to tease him or fool around with him when she reaches puberty. Given his track record, I'm going to guess you'll have eight or nine good years and then you'll have to watch both of them like a hawk.

If he is massively hung and she continues to sit on his lap while grinding her ass against his lump after she's old enough to know better or if he "accidentally" shows your daughter his thick, swinging cock after her 18th birthday and she doesn't come running to you, do your best to nip it in the bud or accept she wants to get popped by someone she loves and who will be gentle with her.

He obviously likes young pussy but seems to have the self control required to wait until things are at least technically legal.

Good luck.

"Consensual, legal age and not forced."

The problem is not him. The problem here is you and only you.

He hadn't abuse his powers on her. I'm quite sure that she at that age were much more smart than you are even now to make decisions to have sex with a not a father of her.

If you're so fucked up between your ears that you draw a direct line between young woman and your 10 year old child and you invent some manipulation, which you haven't even spotted before now, then you're the problem.

You're 39, divorced mom of one 10 year old girl. Have you ever wonder why you're divorced in the first place? I bet the problem was your man and definitely not you, am I right?

Get your head together.

It was consensual and not forced so there was no abuse of his 'position' and she was an adult so just an honest mistake in his past. If he hasnt shown that kind of interest in your daughter then you really should think twice before casting judgement. At least he didnt lie about it when you asked and was upfront with you thats a good thing because he trusts you enough to be open about it. One mistake in his past does not erase two good years if there havent been any issues. No reason to crucify the man.

The thing that gets me, he's been honest with you, but you in your mind have categorized him as a predatory sex offender.

Honestly, you should throw him out. Depending on how old he was when it happened. It's very possible he groomed her, depending on how old she was when they first met. He's shown he's willing to do it. Similar to a person that's cheated, even if they feel remorse, they often are found to be willing to do it again.
