My wife and I are in Military Housing in San Diego. We have 3 children and have a 4 bedroom. We try to make our home nice and take care of our lawn and flower beds and stuff like that. We make due with what we have. Our surrounding neighbors let their kids run through the neighborhood until after ten. They all love to play in our yard and wrestle. My 2 daughters have nothing to do with most of these kids, as either they are so foul mouthed or they can't even speak properly (kinda like mush-mouth of Fat Albert but a blond kid) They come to our door and yell inside waking my 10 month old son. Did I fail to mention that there are several parks for children to play in, including behind our lot? Why is it that military families think that it is ok to put your sofa in the front yard so you can get drunk? These are the same chain-smoking individuals who constantly complain about having no money. Half of the time I wonder where the parents of these children are and how they taught they're 12 year old kids to tell young girls to "lick there balls". I have not been to college but I know that it does not take an education to raise a child properly. There is so much drama that goes on in military housing. I could write a book. Maybe I should.

I'm in the military too, in Corpus Christi TX, in housing each cul-de-sac has a "mayor" usually the senior resident, if we have problems we can talk to him about it, if he can't help well then that's what the chain of command is for. There are rules on every base concerning what can be in the yard, what time kids have to be inside, etc. if your neighbors are breaking the rules, call the base police. I'm in the Navy, I don't know shich service you're in but I'm sure you have a senior enlisted advisor you could talk to. Military housing has its problems but unlike the civilian world there are many ways to get problems "removed" and if you're senior to your neighbors and they mouth off to you well then there is one more charge against them

I would like to think of my home as a place where I can relax and not have to be the gestapo of the village. Military Police (Marines, for me) doesn't exist for me as our base housing is actually off base in a centralized location. San Diego has little areas sectioned off for this purpose but they are not gated communities as most other bases I have seen.

There are so many people who don't deserve to have kids. BAD parents!! Those boys need a good spanking! Then off to boot camp, or the "Maury" show.

If you're in the military, then you need to set an example. if you defend your country, than you should be able to raise your children properly.

I have come to realize that 90 precent of military wives are lazy, fat, drug addicts, whores, bad mothers, drunks or fuckn in the head. I know I'm a late 30's house wife to SSG. Living on post was the worst experience of my life!! It's truly sickening to see kids neglected!! Not to mention the filth of these people's homes or the pill popping that they think in normal or okay! I will never live on post again! I am better than most of my husbands units wives, including the drunken, bitch's who are the biggest whores: the officers wives !!!
