The subject about says it all. When something goes wrong its my fault. He can't make a decision to save his life. I told him I'd like to stop working for a few months and he says no we can't afford it. We don't have any debt, NONE. And he makes about $65k a year. I'm not planning on being out long just need a break for a couple months. If it were reversed I'd let him and I make considerably less but we could do it on my salary. Instead of taking a break from working for a couple months I think I'll divorce his sorry ass and sue him for half the property he inherited. That would teach him, he'll owe me about $100,000. I look at it this way work it out or buy me out. Sounds cold but that's what he needs to straighten his ass out. I always said I would never ask for half the real estate assets or his retirement. But screw that treat me like garbage I'll treat him like garbage.

I hate your husband too. That bastard. You should tell everybody that you husband wears panties all the time.

And you sound like such a loving woman. I can't imagine why he doesn't shower you with love.

don't be so quick to judge when you don't have the entire story, both sides preferably. as the original poster I know you don't know the whole story.

Yes, we don't have the entire story - just your side. And your side sounds like you're being unreasonable. Maybe there's more, but you didn't share it.

If you're looking to have your side validated so that you get permission to divorce him, at least present a compelling argument.

what do you think of a husband that still expects dinner to be cooked for him when you are ill? What do you think of a husband that thinks he's helping you clean up by getting in the way and taking over then complains when you say hell with it and sit down? what do you think of a husband that thinks that even though you work 40+ hours a week you as the wife are to come home and clean the house?

Thats life...I am a female, married to a great guy. I work between 40-60 hours a week (depending on overtime offered that particular week). My husband does not work under 55 hours hours a week. I still manage to take care of every thing in the house ie: bills, cleaning, animals etc... If I am sick, I know noone else is gonna come here and clean my house or pay my bills or make my husband dinner. I cook meals 4 nights a week on average sometimes more. This is the life of most women. When you were married you most likely spoiled the shit out of your husband and now he expects it...My husband does help out with some things to do with house keeping and other stuff but I normally do it over again.
Lastly, you should divorce him...not because he is mean or whatever but because there is obviously no love lost since you seem more concerned about what he inherited and what you can soak from him.
