Eye Contact

So many things have changed with the way we live and work, the way we interact as a result of the virus. As someone who loves to wander, one particular thing has titillated me more than I thought: wearing masks.

What used to be a mundane commute or trip to the shops has now an air of allure. It used to be straightforward: you see an attractive face or you don't.

Now, I notice someone's hair more, the way they dress and walk. Eye contact has become so much more important when you're communicating or even not communicating. Smiling with your eyes.

And when you do get that second of eye contact, my heart races in the mystery of who is under that mask.
