My asshole neighbor works on his car every night. Hours on end, he's revving his engine.
I feel like going over, picking up his pipe wrench, and pounding his head in.
Does anyone else have these thoughts?

I have this one asshole who lives in my apartment complex that feels like it's okay for him to park so close to my car that I can't get into it. I've seriously considered setting it on fire or just going out and stripping the piece of shit and bashing the hell out of it because he's done it to me and some of my friends so many times. I don't blame you for wanting to beat his head in. I'm ready to do the same thing to asshole and fuck up his ride.

For what it is worth: Most cities have noise ordinances and if this moonlight mechanic is revving his engine after 10 PM you might have a complaint. The police will begrudgingly come out and suggest to him that he get his engine revving completed during the daytime, but be ready 'cause all you are doing is stirring the pot....

I fantasize about killing that "Eminem Wannabe" that drives down the street at ungodly hours of the night playing that rap garbage super loud. It's a nice housing development. I just don't understand the whole "I want to be ghetto, even though I'm a white boy living in the suburbs" thing.

To poster 834. Well I am black and I don't understand that "wannabe" thing either!! I personally don't listhen to rap, however, I don't think you are in your place to call other people's music of choice garbage. It does not matter if it was hunky tunky heehaw, the point should be he is being stupid and inconsiderate. To the original poster... try talking to him. Perhaps he is not aware that he is an asshole. I hate noise makers!!

I'm sorry but, if you live in an upper middle class neighborhood you just don't do things like drive through at night playing that horrible rap "music". He's the son of one of the homeowners in the development. I have talked with the parents, but it still continues.
They have a for sale sign up now. I hope they move quick. I just don't get why somebody would want to emulate anything about low class black culture.

Why do you feel the need to insult another's culture? I completely understand why the noise upsets you but the type of music should be irrelevant. Would you be any less annoyed if it were Celine Dion being blasted through the neighborhood?

I live across the street from a 45 year-old idiot that BLASTS 70's and 80's BUBBLE GUM/"EASY" listening pop radio.... No, it does not matter what kind of music. Or sound, for that matter. Across the alley is an idiot who built a garage twice the size of his modest home to carry out his various "handyman" projects - with compressors, electric saws, welding equipment, etc.... I think that people want to broadcast their choice of entertainment into the 'hood as a sort of personal statement - - little do they dream that no one cares. Yet - this seems a very common error of judgement that some people can't/won't outgrow - - WHY?

I find your post somewhat offensive. I can only say somewhat because I am not sure if you are saying the the black culture is offensive. If so, I feel for you.
