I have done this very thing, but generally it is to those I know only. I have the same issue when flaccid but when erect I am just under 8" and 6.5" in diameter. I'm a grower not a show er'. Not worn any underwear for many years and most of my jeans have worn thin in the groin area from carrying large heavy boxes. Over time, the boxes have wore away the material to the point they are almost see through. It makes it easy to see the outline when I'm hard and if one were to look intently you can see skin.
