I'm Getting The Credit For Something I Don't Deserve
You probably reassured your co-worker significantly by doing *something* when he was doubtless very panicked and afraid. I know nothing about the medical advisability, but sometimes knowing that someone is trying to help and not actively hurting you worse or running away or trying to assign blame or whatever is a big help. Relax--you're young and will have lots of chances for meaningful contributions. Many of us wouldn't even have had to guts to try doing what you say you failed at, and many are still trying to make our positive marks years later.
Hey man, not being suited for the Army is a good thing, imo and a tourniquet is correct , if he bleeds out the Medical ppl can't do shit, you have an inner Dialogue about what's right and wrong, a lot of ppl don't and it can be a bit Dark and Lonely at Times but its good, I think you are a good person
All the best to you
Doing nothing is the wrong thing. Solid work my dude. And military life isn't for everyone. I was discharged for being a young punk as an 0311 after two tours. Fuck em!
You did what you felt the best at the moment to help him rather living a person in mess.. great job !
