Trapped

My wife and I have been living in the same house but separately for nearly two years.

My life has been on hold for so long. I can't meet anyone or enjoy any thing by myself. To do that I would have to leave my home and my children.

I feel sad. I am frustrated. I need to touch someone and be touched. I feel sad for her too. We are both young enough to start again with other people.

I'm too scared to leave my children. I don't want to leave my children.

Kids feel your unhappiness. Get divorced and move on. You can still see them. Otherwise separation and therapy might help.

Hey bro, I have been in the same boat, almost 2 years in the same house with soon-to-be-ex. It was horrible but I got to see my daughter everyday. Finally I held a huge Halloween party and I told her to make herself scarce. What did she do instead? She came up from the basement like she was hosting it too, but it was all my friends and they all knew what a bitch she is, do they all pretty much ignored her the whole night. It was actually fun to see her getting shut down by all my guy and girl friends. She told me the next day that she is moving out. Hurray!!
Of course it was shared custody and my daughter was upset about it at first but when I told her things would be easier for all of us and they the two birthdays, two Christmas’, two Easter’s (and so on) got her buy in.
Trust me bro, kids are smarter than we give them credit for. They pick up on a lot and once the initial shock is over will settle in just fine.

Been in your situation. I had a FWB who wanted me to leave. She was hot and a tigeress in bed. I couldn't leave my kids, so I hung in there. FWB turned out to ghost me for her bosses money. Then it turned out he didn't have any and he wrecked her. Now she's on opiods and begs me for money. Wife and I stayed together. Kids are gone, rarely any sex here and any thats done is boring. The grass isnt always greener out there in singles-land, but theres a price for staying too. Good luck.

The feeling of guilt from the idea of being separated from your children is much worse than reality.

If they grow up in a toxic environment, that's what they'll grow into.

Once you free yourself from that useless stress and anxiety you'll be better for them.

Been there, done that and life on the other side is much better.

Fuck her anyway, she's being a bitch and you can put her back in place. That place is anywhere you want with your cock up her c**t or shithole.
