She Took Care Of Me And Grew Up In A Hurry And Married Me
During spring break of my junior year in college I went with some friends on a ski vacation to Utah. I took a nasty spill, broke my leg to spend nine weeks in traction, and found out what happens if you don't have insurance. I was discharged to my friends straight to a motel room. I couldn't walk, sit, shit or care for myself. The only girl on the trip was assigned nursing duties while the other two guys went skiing.
She took it bad, against me, against them. But she did her job. She fed me, bathed me with a wash cloth, washed my hair, turned me, and somehow got me on the toilet and wiped my ass. She complained, but she didn't quit. She sat with me in the back of the van for the 1300 mole drive back to college. She moved in on the couch while I was still doped from the pain meds. Stood me up to walk on crutches, pushed me around in the wheel chair. She cut my hair. She cooked and cleaned up. All while attending college.
Mid semester, I had to drop out that semester, I was doing better, she gave me a hand job. She cooked every night and kept fast food off the menu. She complained less and less. Took me to my doctor visits.
By the middle of the summer I was walking with a cane or crutches. Dinner was at the table. The bed got made as soon as I was up. I got registered for the fall semester, 18 hours. I was not given any slack, I was going to get a 4.0 that semester, payback time. I met her mother at Thanksgiving, everyone there seemed to know what I learned that Holiday. I was getting married when we graduated. Period.
Spring semester went by pretty fast, she graduated and I needed the summer to make up the lost hours. I graduated in August, the wedding was early September. I never had a chance. I had lived with her for going on a year and a half and slept with her the first time after graduation and after marriage. It was only then that I figured out she was a totally mature woman and I had better grow up, get a job and do my duty. In her mind she was married two years, and she was starved for a baby.
