Bachelor Or Bachelorette Party Free Pass?

I recently read a newspaper in the uk that featured a story about a husband to be who was shown a video of his fiancee having sex with a stripper in front of all her friends!! The husband to be cancelled the wedding and dumped her. Was he right to do this? Is it something he should never of known about? Is it acceptable to have a free pass for that Bachelorette party? Should anything other than sex be allowed? Perhaps there should be an agreement before these parties take place? What do you think?

My gf and I had open agreement as long as we disclosed it before or afterward. But she still held it against me. I was faithful during our marriage but told her I’d fucked an old gf while away for work. I found out during divorce she was not. I wanted separation but she retaliated with divorce and false domestic violence charges. So, even if u think it’s ok, it’s apparently not.

Hi last comment. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you and your gf. So do you think a free pass or a open relationship doesn't normally work? I would agree with you if that's your point. But what about a bachelorette party? Is a free pass acceptable for that one party? Or are you better off not knowing what your fiancée has done during that party and obviously vice versa. The newspaper article I'm referring to happened in the UK and the husband was shown what happened by a member of the fiancée's family in an act of revenge. Was this person right to show this video to this man? Or is ignorance bliss?

From memory it was the brides sister that showed him. I am sure if the husband was that fragile the marriage wouldn't have lasted. Sometimes I think the other person knowing is the worst outcome. Don't lie. Don't tell anyone else and take it to the grave.

Hi BB101, i think you might be right about the sister. I think alot of people see these parties as a goodbye to single life and maybe a final chance to be wild? I think what happens at these parties should stay at these parties. Ignorance is bliss. I think we all know what happens at these parties and if your partner is going to one then theres a good chance of sexual contact with a stripper.

Ignorance is going to be bliss in this situation.

And no matter the reason, it was the bride to be's story to tell, not her sister's [with video, even]. Either the state of things between the sisters is completely toxic or the sis-in-law to be was looking to hook the future husband for some side action before [and possibly after] the wedding or maybe both.

I had sex with a stripper at my Bachelor party. While strippers were apart of the party and it was not announced where I went or what i was doing I am sure friends knew, even one of her family members high fived me after with a wink.
I think it depends who you are or how secular your families are, but one last side fuck on that night I think is acceptable to most.

Ok, thanks to the last two people that posted. I think if people don't agree with these parties or feel insecure, then they should possibly not have them and have a alternative party? I think it all depends on how insecure the people involved are
