Don't People Get It? Happiness Is Not About Professional Growth

In high school it was all about getting into the right 'school'. In college about the right major. At work the right career path. All I ever wanted was having some kids, being a wife, hanging with the neighbors, school lunches, afternoon at the park. Being promoted to Senior, assigned to the largest cl7ent, passing the CPA exam doesn't make me happy. I want a baby not a raise.
