So What?

I just turned 29 and moved to the Northeast from the Pacific Northwest for a lucrative career opportunity 6 months ago. First of all this isn't really a confession, it's more of a rant. And sorry but there isn't much sex here. Here's the problem. Shortly after moving here I met my current boyfriend. He's a little younger than I. We're both tall, however I weigh more than he does. Don't get me wrong, I'm not overweight, I'm actually quite athletic, but I have curves, I'm not built like a Barbie, it's just not in my DNA. In fact I play beach volleyball semi competitively. My boyfriend is a few inches taller than I but he weighs about 20 lbs less than I do. He naturally thin but also athletic. He played football in highschool. He's much stronger than I am and can hold his own. He's taken down guys much bigger than him. He's not a violent guy at all but one time had to physically defend himself against two guys much heavier than he was who were harassing me. He knocked one guy out cold and broke the other guy's nose. Since moving East I'm constantly asked why am I with a guy who is smaller than me? He's not. He's taller than I and his shoulders are broader than mine and our waists are about the same size. Yes my hips and thighs are bigger and wider than his but I'm a woman. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be? I never had this issue when I lived out west and it's starting to give me a complex. I keep telling myself the important thing is that I love him and after a night of lovemaking I feel totally feminine laying in his chest with his strong arms wrapped around me. I feel totally safe and protected when I'm with him

I hear you. I'm a guy who actually lives in Seattle. I'm tall and lean and all of my friends with benefits are tall and probably weigh at least as much as I do or a little more. There's nothing like a nice round ass to pound from behind. My overweight incel roommate is so jealous!

You sound smart and competitive. Do not let what they say mentally bother you. Do not let them win.
Also, socking them in the nose is plan B.
