I'm studying evolution in my high school bio class and it got me wondering why does society value big breasts and big cocks. It's cuz evolution, duh. It all makes sense now. We're drawn to those things cuz it's good for us!

Very debatable. I know a lot of women who have had bigger and hate it. Same can be said in regards to guys and big breasts - not everyone likes big breasts. Has nothing to do with evolution. Just preference.

There would have to be a biological advantage in natural selection for evolution to play a true role. Women with smaller breasts and men with smaller dicks would have to be consistently out-bred by their larger counterparts. (Or the advantage of bigger dicks and bigger breasts would have to manifest greater longevity allowing more opportunities to reproduce. Same result.)

There is something to it, though. Most species have some ornamental trappings that attract mates and serve no greater purpose than that. Big breasts (and wide hips) signify fertility and bigger dicks might present the same reaction in females.

I think many physical attributes of both sexes are residual evolutionary traits. We, as a species, have probably moved on from them being germane to natural selection now, though.
