And Just Like That My Life Changes

I'm confessing to being lucky. No skill involved. I won a multimillion dollar lottery. I'm just 24. I'm scared. Only one other person knows and he is engaging attorneys so I don't have to be identified, they are setting up a trust in a name nothing like mine. He wants me to talk with a financial wealth advisor, an older Jewish lawyer CPA. I don't even know what to ask.

The man who is helping me is not family, my family doesn't know at this time. How can I live and use the money and explain it?

OK, now the juicy part. I do not sleep with him, I am not a virgin, I am straight. I grew up in a two parent family, college graduates, no one is in jail, we get along. We are Christians. We are middle class, maybe a bit more. I am a junior professional for an established company.

I wish I had not bought the lotto ticket. I know the right thing to do is to take the money, wisely, and take care of it and shelter myself against scumbags. I need my shield, I'm not strong enough alone. I can't hardly believe I will need attorneys, tax advisors, and my shield. One day I am deciding on a take home dinner or fast food. I stop at a convenience store for a drink, I spend one dollar on one ticket, and an hour later I have a problem.

Yes, you are lucky. Don’t squander it. No need to advertise it either. Let values guide you. Let those who you trust help…you ARE strong enough. NEVER make drastic decisions for at least a year or two—it’s rash by definition. My friend’s wife died early of a terrible disease. He gave away the $100K insurance because he equated the gain as a result of his loss. Now he’s so poor banks won’t refinance his house. He can’t even finance a small business to do a passion. He’s now retirement age and his health isn’t getting better. Start a business to make the world a better place or finance those to do it.

Take your time and don't be in a rush to do anything.

Be mindful of lawyers too. If you sign the wrong documents, you could wind up signing over the entire fortune to said lawyer and not even know it.
Remember, this is a capitalist society, and people will capitalize you if they can, at your expense.

If it’s possible get new unlisted cell phone and phone numbers.
If you are using social medias consider deleting and setting up new ones for close family only.
Get a mail box at a post office and have your mail sent there.
And lastly move to another address.
This may help to preserve your privacy.
Expect strangers, friends and family to ask for monies from you.
Hope all works out well.

Stop what your doing and go educate yourself about money and finances it’s not like you can’t afford to. Don’t trust others with your money. Where there’s money there’s sharks.

Play it down low so you can trust the friends you make and have are genuine. You can do things secretly to help those you love.

Good luck and enjoy your dreams and desire’s.

I wouldn't let anyone know if you don't want, just start buying land and build on it while living in an apartment making it look like i live off ends meet like everyone else, just make sure your family is well off if that's something that's important to you as im sure it is for most of us. Also learning about finances, taxes and credit should be the first you should invest in or you can fuck you money off who gives a damn we are destined for death live how it makes you happy

First of all....you have a nice problem..

1. Pay the taxes.

2. Buy a house in a decent neighborhood. Best bet for long term

3. Avoid financial advisors. Many if not most will churn your money so that they make a commission on the transaction or the hourly rate for their services. And they will not be responsible for losses if they make bad decisions.

Good luck.
