Heartbroken In Cyberspace

I'm putting this in the category "Anything Goes" because no other category seems to fit.

I was talking to a woman online for quite a while. She and I seemed to have so much in common.

She even seemed a bit obsessed with me, which after a long dry spell I'll admit felt great. I loved her attention, she loved mine (or so it seemed) and then all of a sudden, dead silence, I'd been ghosted.

I know this happens to alot of people online, so I don't know why I feel so broken up about it, but I so incredibly do, and I hate it.

I'm thinking I wish I never started up anything with her at all, tired of getting burned when I put so much time into her.
