My Bestie Shared Her Hubby So I Could Conceive

Katie and I grew up in a small town and have known each other since middle school. She was always a lot wilder than I was, but she never tried to steal my boyfriends and vice versa. We also experimented a little with one another in secret, but we were both more hetero than bi. We went to different colleges and got jobs in cities far apart but kept in touch through email and phone calls, and later skype and zoom. We both got married in our mid 20s.

Katie always knew she could talk to me about anything and I'd never judge her. One day during a call we started talking about sex, and she sort of casually mentioned that she and her husband had an open relationship and they were occasional swingers. I tried to be sophisticated about what she was saying, but deep down I was thinking, jeez louise, well, ok I guess if it works for you.

My own marriage fell apart when I was 33. My husband just came right out and said the magic was gone and it was time to move on. We had no kids.

I worked in a school system, and Katie invited me to visit her as soon as summer vacation came. She was happy to see me, but I was still depressed and crying and complaining about my divorce. Losing my husband was bad, but one of my biggest regrets was not being a mom yet. My husband had been ambivalent about having kids, which was one of our problems. I didn't want to be one of those women who try to get pregnant in their 40s. I've known women like that, and it can be harder to conceive than they think.

I was going on and on about that to Katie, and she said that Brian (her husband) could help me. She said he was quite a stud because she got pregnant as soon as she was ready to start a family. They had a 3 year old son and she was now 4 months pregnant with their daughter.

I had to ask her to repeat herself.

She said, "Who knows when you'll meet someone. You could have a baby now instead of waiting. You've got a good career and your divorce settlement and the inheritance from your parents. You'll be a fantastic mom. Brian can provide the sperm, but the child will be yours alone, and you'd never have to worry about us interfering."

I was stunned, but not too put off by her idea -- an idea that would normally never enter my mind. I guess I wanted a baby so bad it didn't matter how I got one. And Brian was a fine looking man with an aimiable personality. He was smart and successful but Katie ruled the roost in that marriage, and I knew if she made an offer like that it'd be ok with him.

I asked her what she was proposing, exactly. Artificial insemination or what? She said it was up to me, then sort of laughed and said, "But you'd be crazy to miss out on some fun with Brian. You need it frankly, and believe me, he doesn't disappoint."

I said what I really needed was to think about it. Before another 30 seconds passed I said, "Yes let's do it!" I was shocked at myself. I was afraid she'd change her mind. She said she wanted to be there too and I agreed.

We shopped together for fertility monitors and ovulation predictor kits. When the time was right, all three of us met. Katie looked so beautiful with her own pregnancy showing, and I felt a sudden attraction to her like the old days. She sensed this and said, "Let me get you ready." She started kissing up my inner thighs, and when she got to my pussy she teased me for a while. I felt myself getting really wet and my labia were widening. I whimpered and guided her to my clit when I was ready. Oh god, no guy has ever gone down on me like she did! She knew just how to tease but she never sent me over the edge, on purpose. She wanted me to have an orgasm after Brian came because the contractions might let his sperm flow easier to my egg. Katie said he hadn't come for a couple weeks so he was ready to give me all the baby batter he had.

Then I turned and saw Brian standing there, nude with his cock throbbing. I was frustrated and fired up by Katie's tongue and I wanted him right away. His cock was big but I was so wet and gaping he easily slipped in. He started very gently and easy and I appreciated that, but I soon gave him the signal to go harder. I felt so lightheaded I gasped for breath almost every time he thrusted. I looked to Katie and reached out my hand. She lay beside us and kissed my cheek and stroked her husband's back. I reached out and rubbed her baby bump while her husband was trying to give me what he already gave her. He sure knew what he was doing and wouldn't let himself come until I did. Brian kept thrusting but allowed Katie to reach down and massage my clit. The orgasm I finally had was so intense I felt like it left me an imbecile. Literally screwed silly. When Brian shot inside me I started giggling. I felt him and Katie lift my legs up vertically to let gravity help his sperm on its way. I kept giggling for the longest time.

We did this during my fertile window days throughout the summer, and in August I missed my period. I had to go back home because school was about to start, but after I got there, my doctor confirmed my pregnancy.

I was ecstatic. I called Katie and told her the news. She said she already knew. She had a dream I was pregnant before I left. I couldn't stop thanking her and she said it was her and Brian's pleasure, and made me promise to visit as often as possible.

My daughter is nine years old now. She knows who her bio father is and we go down to visit Katie and Brian every summer, or we did until Covid interrupted things. Katie and Brian kept their promise. They don't interfere, and they're basically like an aunt and uncle to my child -- both my children actually. I'm now married to a successful, open minded and open hearted man. He knows the circumstances of my daughter's conception (well, not every little detail). I wasn't sure I'd have another child, but my husband and I had a wonderful, healthy son just before Covid hit. I was able to quit my job and be a full time mom which is what I think I was cut out for anyway. Who knows what the future holds, but I'm enjoying these years as fully as I can.

I wanted to start having kids as soon as we got married but my husband wanted us to have fun first. His version of compromise was to allow me to get pregnant by anyone but him. When we swapped, he'd often lie that I was on BC. I had a lot of mixed feelings on this. The risk of getting pregnant by other men was a huge turn on but I wanted my babies to at least as pass as my husband's. Thankfully, they do. The only problem now is DNA. DNA wasn't an issue back then and now I'm worried I'll look bad when I finally have to explain things to our children

I feel for you. One of our kids is by another man. That child is in her 40s now, and we never told her. She passed as mine, and we just let her and everyone else assume she was. If she ever has to take a DNA test for an illness or for genealogy and she finds out, I really don't know what we'll say. My wife and I have discussed it, but saying, "Honey, it was the seventies, and people were experimenting in all kinds of ways" doesn't sound quite good enough lol : )

Good for you, OP. Your friend and her husband were an emotionally mature couple who kept their promise not to interfere. In some cases, the donors change their minds and try to sue for some form of custody or legal visitation rights.
