My wife and I have been married 33 years. Children are raised and we have an empty nest. We are now best friends and do everything together. We never had an active sex life together and really I couldn’t explain why. My quess was she didn’t enjoy sex with me. I recently heard her on the cell talking to a friend with a quiet voice. They were talking about abortions and the law change. My wife explained abortions in the conversation like she is experienced with abortion. I thought about this a few days and decided to ask the husband of the lady she had her quiet phone call, he has been a good friend. I explained to my friend my wife and I was solid but I needed to know if he knew about any of my wife’s past that I didn’t know. A few beers and a lot of talk he told things his wife told him. First I was told my oldest son could have been fathered by my brother. I got a vasectomy after our third child. He then shared rumor was my wife had at least 3 abortions over a 10 year span. I approach my wife with what I had been told. After a long distressed evening she revealed it was all true. My wife had started a n affair with my older brother before we got married and why she pushed a quick marriage because she was pregnant with our first child. My wife worked out at a work out center for 10 years and had sex with many trainers. she estimated she had extramarital sex at least 100 times. She had sex with our childrens summer coaches. She had had sex with co workers. In her mid 30’s she cleaned her act up and went straight with our marriage. She quit going to work out gyms and bought equipment for home use. She became active and committed to things we did as a family. She said she looked at our relationship as good closed life friends and she didn’t want me to think of her as a dirty sex person. My wife asked if I ever cheated on her, which I haven’t, and wondered why I never pushed her for sex. One abortion was from our daughters soccer coach. An out of town tournament she would go to his motel room and get drunk and had unprotected sex twice. Another was a gym trainer who wouldn’t pull out at times. The other she believed was from a coworker. After confessing that evening we both took off work two days and talked things out. She vows she has been straight since her mid 30’s and I agreed to lose about 100 pounds to be better for her. This has even gotten me interested in sex again.
