It's really just the facts of life. An older guy, student of my father's at the university, stopped by, found me alone, and I got the first hand version of the birds and the bees. It was scarier him looking at me naked than the act itself. He put his mark on me, I had a short leash, and my journey into womanhood began.

Men don't share their women, if he shares you, you are not his woman. Men are possessive, whether you're 16 or 62. Men don't see a fling at a convention as cheating, men see a slip on your part as treason. Get used to it early. It's a double standard but he's that way because you're his woman.

At some point he's mounting to get you pregnant, whether you're ready isn't his problem. He's marking his territory, grin and bear it, no pun intended. Two is better than one, three is better than two. He gets them to play with, you get them the rest of the time. You're the mother.

It's ok for him to say his wife, his woman. You say 'my husband', don't say 'my man'. You are his wife.

There's more and I can go on, but in the interest of brevity and time, wife and mother are titles, he gives them to you, don't disparage them.
