I Suspected My Dad Was Not My Bio Dad, And My Parents Admitted It
I have an aunt who lives across the country. We never see her much because she's so hard to get along with. I never really liked her but I always tried to be nice to her. She called me about ten days ago to chat, I don't know why. During the conversation, I said something about politics she disagreed with, and she flipped out and got really nasty. She told me my dad wasn't my biological dad. She said my parents had been into all kinds of things before I was born like SM and cuckolding. She told me I was conceived during a gangbang while my parents were in South Korea. She actually said it like that. I hung up on her.
It took a few days to process it, but I always knew subconsciously anyway. As I grew up, I began to look a little different from my parents and my two younger siblings. Not so much in terms of skin tone or other features, but my eyes look slightly Asian (both of my parents are Caucasian).
I confronted my parents, and though they clarified a lot of things, they basically admitted what my aunt said was true. They apologized profusely for not telling me, but they said they'd never apologize for anything else, because they don't regret anything they did. My dad said, "If you'd been my bio child, I'd have another daughter or a son, but not you. I'd have never known you. The unique child that is you would never have existed. How can I be sorry that you exist?"
Of course hearing that made me feel great. And I can't be angry with them. They've both been wonderful parents. They doted on all of us, lived for us, and despite my suspicions about how I was conceived, I was never treated with less attention or love than my siblings. So I've got nothing to complain about. I guess it's just thinking about the stuff they were into. Hard to imagine your parents in that scene. But I love them and they love me, and that's all that matters.
