Unfashionable Gender Views

Ever since I first saw a ladyboy in Thailand I've had a fetish about men who pretend to be women. Immediately, I guess, many readers of this will be thinking that isn't cool.People will be thinking that if somebody identifies as a woman then they are a woman.
Well, I'm sorry. I know I'm out of step, but, I just don't agree. As I said, I am attracted to and fascinated by crossdressers (convincing , feminine looking only), transexuals, pre-op, post-op, femboys, shemales, call them what you will. I've had relationships with them. I've had sex with lots of them. However, I cannot agree that they are women.
When I compare them to women I have gone out with or lived with. When I compare them to female friends or colleagues, to my sisters or my mom I just cannot think that they are the same at all.
This is not a hate thing. I really like a lot of the people I've been with. I've found them to be good, interesting people. Just not women.
A few of these relationships have ended badly when I've answered a question on this topic honestly. I've then been schooled on what I should really think, but, on each occasion, the 'what I should think' talk has been different to the last 'what I should think' talk from somebody else, leaving me none the wiser as to how I should correct my thinking.
A couple of years ago I was seeing someone who dressed full-time in female clothing and identified as a woman called Debbie. We would talk while we were fucking (obviously), and one day Debbie challenged me about my lack of response to some of the questions or comments during lovemaking. These would be things like for instance 'Am I your best girl?', 'Do you love my pussy?' or even 'Are you going to make me pregnant? - perhaps I should just go along with it but I always just preferred not to answer than to lie and telling the truth would not have been a good idea, i.e 'No, you're not a girl, you're a man in panties with shaved legs who calls himself Debbie, but I do like you and think you are very sexy', 'you don't have a pussy, which is why I'm fucking you in the ass. I do love your ass though' and 'don't be fucking ridiculous, you don't have a womb'.
Anyway, when challenged, I told the truth and Debbie hit the fucking roof, shouting and screaming before walking out.
Nearly a year later Debbie contacted me out of the blue 'Feeling horny, you want to come over?' I asked if I was forgiven and got the response 'Live and let live'
It was a little awkward when i got there but we soon went to bed and it was very horny. After a while she asked the question but then added 'Tell me what you really think. It will be hot'
I went for it saying 'You're just a queer with lipstick on, getting fucked in the ass by another queer'. A pair of hands reached behind my ass and pulled me in further. A minute later 'Tell me again'. 'You're a faggot who loves being fucked in his ass'. It was wild and although Debbie couldn't look me in the eye afterwards, I've had the call every few months since and it has always been hot as fuck.
Now I am not saying for one minute that this is how all trans people are deep down because I know that is a billion miles away from the truth. I do think though, that it shows there isn't one truth or way to think. To me, if somebody wants to dress as a woman, take hormones or have gender confirming surgery and identify as a woman then nobody should be able to stop them. By the same token, if somebody else wants to say they don't believe that person is now a woman then they should be granted the same freedom to say what they think without fear of cancellation or recrimination.
I've said my piece now and I suppose I should just wait for the hate to roll in. However, I think it would be more productive to try to make me think differently than to make me scared to air my actual opinion.

I agree with you. A lot of these people need to just come out and say that being gay isn’t enough for them. The feeling is just so internalized that they think they have to become women. There’s less shame when you compare it to a normal bottom gay. The community did this to themselves tho. They shame gay bottoms for whatever reason ?? Tops are as gay as the bottoms! You did good OP.

Thanks for the reply. That's not really how I see it but just shows how many different views there are.
