One Day I Woke Up,

It is not a secret, today's men don't cut it. Not the way you want. So if you're looking for a 'man' you have to go older. I finally was accepted by Mr. X, I say accepted because he was looking for maturity, I changed to meet his standard. When you are the Mrs. X, you have be the Mrs., he doesn't want to raise you and he doesn't want you pretending you can be his equal. You're not. Why? Biology. Mr. X is the boss of the house.

I'm 34, almost too late to have a family. He's 48, with all the baggage of an ex and children. His ex is a nice woman, but she wants to spread her wings. Too late, she can't fly alone and he wants a younger woman for the obvious. This way we both get what we want, I get a gilded cage to create my family, she's free to fly, even if it's around my cage. The cage is nicer from the inside than flying around it looking in, at the new sparrow laying her eggs. I will make family with her, but she has to want that too.

It took a lot of pain, disappointment, anger to get here. Mother nature needs respect, you can't fool her. Today I have a man, and I'm ready to be his woman, even if that means I have to share his attention to his ex and her children.

Not in long while but through my 40s to late 50s I would have a few young women a year that expressed similar needs, sexually and spiritually. In my early 50s I befriended a young lady that expressed to me that I was a “man’s man” and that’s what attracted her to me.
That was over 10 years ago but the memories of that beautiful young girl all over me will be with me forever, I hope. Every time I would approach that lovely shaved peach before going down on her I would know it might be the last time.
