It's So Hard To Accept, To Understand, Why Are We Made Like This

Spending a little bit of time here I see that experiences are common place, even the ones that you think apply only to you. Me, I had to admit to myself that I was a gay woman, a lesbian, and that no matter how hard I tried I wasn't going to ever overcome this. And that I was, and am, in love with this other woman. Because we are still young, in our twenties, we don't call ourselves women, we just say girls.

She is what every boy dreams of, except she is a girl who like me is stuck in this world where you like other girls. Please understand, we never grew up thinking that one day we would be looking at another naked girl and saying "OH WOW". We grew up like all girls, thinking we would grow up and get married and have kids and go to Disney Land. But we grew and grew and grew and no boy ever were of interest to us, and we found that we kept wanting to be best friends with this or that girl, but she wanted to be the girlfriend of a boy. At least that was my experience.

I even faked a crush on this boy to be around his sister.

I remember the day I felt something for this girl. We were both in gym class, we both played soccer, we were both hot, we were fit, and one day we both had to change and she took her top off and just stood in front of me and asked me if I liked that. I was embarrassed really, I felt like I needed to go down the drain. "Look at me, you are always staring at me, is this what you want?" So may times before I had seen other girl's tits, but that day I saw something else, or felt something else. She slowly pulled her gym shorts down and her panties and stood totally naked in front of me and stood there and said "enjoy".

She had figured me out, she hadn't quite gotten the place where she figured herself out. Because that day she enjoyed showing me as much as I enjoyed looking at her. My pussy twitched, and I think hers did too. It wasn't that long before she stood like that naked in front of me, telling me to do it, and I leaned forward and kissed her bush (we weren't shaved then). If I told you that it took us three years to get to the point where we actually ate each other you wouldn't believe me, but it did. We did not want to be gay.

We didn't 'make love' for three more years, get in bed, and just make out, and let ourselves get hot and make love. You know, like two persons in love. Not that it took that long before we hugged and said I LOVE YOU, we said that a lot. We just didn't know what to do. I cried at night, and she did too.

We are 25, and yes we sleep together and we make love, and sometimes we just have sex. We live together like two sisters, an outsider would not say we are a couple. We haven't given up on the dream of meeting Mr. Right and getting married. But deep down inside we know that Mr. Right isn't coming. We know we are lesbians. And sometimes when we make love, we end up crying together. Why are we like this? We don't know, all we know is that we are like this together and we are not alone.

Society and ancient thinking has told us that same-sex attraction is wrong. But it's not. You are wired the way you are. Conversion therapy is a horrible fraud to avoid. Embrace who you are and ignore the old farts who want to tell you it's wrong.

My dear, be happy that you live in this time. Remember Byron, who was buried where he belongs, in Westminster Abbey, only after 145 years, because of "questionable morality".
Human civilization sometimes regresses, sometimes it advances, but surely the time has passed when such people were hanged on the pillar of shame.
You have no reason to feel ashamed or guilty about the nature you were given.
Between you and your partner, there is certainly a deep emotional connection and understanding - unlike millions of failed marriages between heterosexuals, which mostly affected their children who grew up without harmony in the family.
