I know this is no huge confession but I've never been a fan of sexy lingerie. My wife use to spend (waste) way too much money at Victoria's Secret on this stuff. I always felt she was the sexiest woman on earth and didn't need to wear them especially since they'd be off her in seconds anyway. I understand that maybe she just liked the way she felt wearing them. But those things are very expensive and totally useless to me.

My opinion, stop bitching and be thankful she puts some effort into looking hot for you. If you discourage her it will stop. And women deserve to do things for themseleves if its not solely fo you to look nice feel sexy. A lot of wives, like mine, just stop with the sexy lingerie even if we tell them how much we love it. Appreciate her efforts.

"Wasting too much money" and "totally useless to me" might not be bitching, probably a poor choice of words, but it's not positive reinforcement either, lol. I think LB58 point was, you're lucky she's at least trying because most of us don't get that kind of effort anymore. Enjoy it while you can.

Although lingerie may not be necessary for you, you have to consider what it may be doing for her. If dressing like that makes her feel sexy and confident, or naughty and slutty, you will likely regret not encouraging that. My wife has great outfits with frilly bras and panties that just get in the way when the action starts, so I get you, but I've learned to slow things down and appreciate the view for a little while before we get busy. She's displaying herself for you, and you shouldn't take it for granted.
