My Life's Work Behind The Lens Of The Camera
I grew up in a large family in a small house in western West Virginia, one bathroom and two bedrooms. All the kids bunked up together and our parents had the other room. There was no issue with modesty, you got dressed and undressed, and showered while another brushed their teeth. Four girls and two boys. As the boys got older and their penis got bigger we kidded them about boners and they kidded us about boobs. We saw their boners and they saw our boobs, and everything else too.
I went off to the Navy when I turned 18 and straight into a world of shared bathrooms and sleeping quarters, half naked women and women on toilets. I moved right in, never had a problem with modesty and I enjoyed comparing myself to the other women I served with. There were women from every corner of the country, every size and shape.
When I got out of the Navy I went to college for a degree in photography and after graduation worked for portrait photographer, who from time to time did weddings. He was very good, the best in town and he taught me a lot about portraiture, which is a bread and butter business. When he retired he sold me the business and at the age of 35 I was running my own shop.
I started doing layouts for girls who wanted to model, and quite a few nudes that they requested. Like my Navy experience, girls of all shapes and sizes came to me, some truly quite beautiful and others that needed help with the final product. I enjoyed shooting nudes, far more than I did shooting weddings. Over time I exclusively did nude layouts for customers, a lot or word of mouth. At that time I didn't do any erotic poses, although it was very erotic to me. I became a master at exposing the unexposable and accentuating the curves of the women who came to me.
I turned 50, still single, without a significant person in my life, when I was approached by a young couple who wanted their wedding night captured on film. They wanted a video that left nothing to the imagination, and posed repeatedly for the best views possible. It was my first purely erotic live action shoot. And after editing it was very good, if you want true point of view action. I found myself hugely aroused by the whole experience. It was my first time filming a man's penis, erect and in full action.
Today I live in a small town in New Mexico, retired, surrounded by my work product. I don't sell it, or let others view it. It is just for me, a long trip down memory lane. All those young women with dreams of acting or modeling, and later couples intent on capturing what they could never see. Say what you want about it, I suppose that after all these years I have a very definite appreciation for women and little interest in men. But my camera was my lens into what never came about in real life. I am, I suppose, a professional voyeur.
