how do you feel about a girl sleeping w/ you pretty fast, like first or second date type thing. sometimes I do this because basically I'm really attracted to the guy and I want to sleep w/ him. but I often sense this change in their behavior afterwards. it's frustrating. it's like they want me to not want it. I'm supposed to deflect their advances for a while. but sometimes thats not what I really want to do. I need some male perspective on this.

I think you're just easy, and want somebody to say you're not.

well at least your giving me a guys perspective. It is genuinely disapointing but perhaps genuinely how you feel.-so thats useful info. in your sexist man mind -how long would you like a woman to pretend she doesn't want sex before letting you have your way with her while she shyly acts like she doesn't know what is going on, and dizzily swats at your hands while you determinedly pry her thighs apart?

Double standard or not, it's how the world works. I see it everyday when I go running through my nice suburban neighborhood in the evening. People see a white guy running, he's trying to stay fit. People see a black guy running, he must be trying to stay ahead of the police. My wife faces a similar discrimination when she runs errands during the middle of day. A white woman with a small child in tow at the grocery store at 10:30 AM is a stay-at-home mom. A black woman in the same situation must be on welfare. My wife has a MBA, but has had total strangers advise her to get her GED so she can get a job.

So if you don't like men thinking you're a slut for sleeping with them early in the relationship, change your behavior. We can't change our color.

thats rather interesting. maybe I could be a rosa parks of white girl sex.(I hope you don't find that tasteless but I can't think of a better correlation) I could just have sex when I want to - take the ridicule w/ my head held high- and maybe someday girls can have sex whenever they want just like men and not have to be shamed like their fore-sisters for being honest about their sexual desires. times do change. and youre right we can't change our color or our gender, but every now and then we do change public perspective. you and I can vote and we wouldn't have been able to some generations back.

but I hear you- you're probably right- men are probably not nearly as progressive as in my heart I imagine they are.

now to conform for the sake of social acceptance or rebel for the sake of following my heart...

You sound like the girl I was out with the other night, while we were driving around I started to ask if she wanted to go for pizza, and I got as far as do you want, and she had her panties off.

To you, my sister, I applaud. I rarely get to read anything from someone so well spoken as you. Unfortunately, males are males, and then there is the sane. You do what you want, be careful, and blaze a trail.

Yeah,it's OK just to do it because you want to do it.Us guys do so you might as well. But,it sounds like you want more.If you want a relationship then I think you need to clarify that early on.Even if you don't talk about it directly, you still need to cut through all the bullshit and extract his values. You can do this by asking "what matters to you...in life..women...relationships... friends...etc..". If he's not willing to level with you on a deeper level, then he's not relationship material..I think you can have sex with him anywhere along the way as long as you don't over extend yourself & end up feeling used...Know what you want first...

That really turns me on when a girl, speaks very nonsexual, saying she doen't want it,meanwhile teasing the hell out me by giving me ;glimpses of her panties, thighs, long spartly gazes, visible nipples, suggestive posture etc.....Is that what you mean?...What exactly do you do?....
