Sometimes, if it's a good story. I prefer to read the letters in Penthouse Forum. Those really make my pussy moist. I can have three or four orgasms within in a couple of letters!

I'm a guy, so I can't write what women may get up to with romance novels.
What I think is interesting is that the literal meaning of the word 'pornography' is 'the writings of prostitutes'.
Thus pornography most aptly refers to written material such as explicitly sexual books and magazines, not pictures.

Definitely but as it's so embarrassing to buy them, I prefer to visit websites that feature erotica for women. (There are some fantastic blogs out there!) I don't usually "play" at the time, but remember the hot bits for later.

It has to be a really good one. And just so you know, most of them aren't just about sex. There's alot of really sappy love stuff in them too.

I am a girl and I hate reading. I would much rather look at pictures and I especially like watching porn. I also can make up some pretty good fantasies in my head. I don't mind if it's a well written short story but I haven't read a book since high school.

I don't know where the other poster lives that it is embarassing to buy romance novels. Every grocery store and pharmacy where I live carries them --sometimes right at the checkout next to magazines like In Style and People.

I am rather addicted to romance novels, but it's hardly all I read and I'd agree that the sex usually takes a back seat to the mushy stuff. Occasionally there is an especially steamy bit that arouses me, but my taste in sex runs toward BDSM and I haven't found a romance novel yet that understood the difference between BDSM and rape. Usually I read romance novels when I want romance and erotica when I want a masturbation fantasy.
