Anything Goes
-
Here's notes for those entering into their first "real" job:
It's not like TV - you have to actually work.
As soon as two of your co-workers become "just friends" ; ), they'll get to stand around all day talking to each other. You will get told to "pick up your pace."
You'll run into asshole bosses. Mine asked me if I could reschedule surgery, child adoption, and limit bereavement time for my mother to one day off.
YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS AT WORK. You may think so, but someone will spill your secret to someone they trust. Soon, it's all over the plant/ office.
If you go to lunch with a member of the opposite sex, people automatically think you are having an affair.
Think about it.
