Advice For Guys Thinking They Can Get Away, Fat Chance

I sat and watched this man who looked like he was taking a piss in the bushes. He looked homeless. As I sat there this girl in my class walked by and I stood up and got between her and the homeless man and kept her looking the other way. She took it as me making a pass at her. When I turned and looked back the homeless man and his dog were gone. I never did tell her why I got so 'personal' that day, I spent a long time in time out, she wouldn't let me say hi, much less apologize.

Well time fixes everything, and the next semester in late spring she let me walk her, with her, from Biology to English Lit class. She wasn't wearing a bra, a thing going around campus. I couldn't keep my eyes off. She asked me not to stare, I wasn't making any points with her. Yes ma'am, eyes straight, I was back in basic.

She approached me and asked me what my problem was. About? Well, did she have to ask me? About? The end of semester dance at the golf club. The what? So she spelled it out, 'was I taking her to the dance?'. Yes, I guess, what dance is this? The end of semester dance for members of her sorority.

I won't bore you with my other faults for not reading her mind, like the day she set me up to ask her father for her hand in marriage. In my defense I didn't know I was getting married, but that didn't soothe her feelings. I had to go to the bank and ask for him to let me see him in his office. He gave me the best piece of advice, with women you got to hear with your ears and eyes, and it pays to sweeten up her mother and sister too. You can run, but you can't hide. Congratulations.

I found out there's two sides of any argument, her side and me agreeing with her.
