Discovering Being A Housewife And Mother Is All That I Want To Be

The pandemic made me a housewife and I've not gone back to work. I miss the money, but not the office not the commute. I learned how to cook better, manage the house without a housekeeper. I'm home for my kids, I volunteer as my son's room mother. I am a better wife and a better mother.

I got over the shame and the persistent clamoring about my career. My husband has the burden of supporting us, in return he has a wife a home and dinner waiting for him.

If only I had done this the day I got married instead of waiting eight years to be forced into it.
