Ranting About Having Yo Wear My Big Girl Panties
I'm a professional in a relationship with a male professional. He is perfect working with women, the best boss they could want. Understanding, mentor, supportive, intellectual, the ultimate big brother or dare I say it, father figure. I worked for him and I wasn't the only female that day dreamed about him. We laughed about being Daddy girls. Seriously it is so easy to fall into the Daddy daughter world.
He chose me, I could feel, hear, sense that I was his Princess. It was obvious to the other women and they not only treated me as his Princess, they encouraged me. When he told me it was time for me to quit my jib and stay home and make a family I was overjoyed. My wedding was every little girl's dream. But real life housewife is anything but the life you think it is.
He told me, in case I didn't figure it out myself, he was the man in our marriage. Meaning I wasn't. He is the sole provider, he likes it that way. I of course had to change my name. I joined a young wives club, pre children. We loose 25% every six months to babies. I've been there six months, I'm tired of answering questions about when I'm getting pregnant, so I can graduate to the mommy class.
I really want to go back to work but spouses can't work together. Sorry for the rant. Knowing and living are two different things. I married to start a family. Now I have to deliver, pardon the pun.
