Loyalty Test On My Mom Gone WRONG! - Part 2

It again went out of our chat topics for a couple of months, then one day he told that he had actually met her. He knew a friend who worked at a B&Q store who could get them employee discount on some supplies and he had asked iif mom wanted to tag along. Mom had initially declined but then she was apparently tempted to go seeing the difference in prices. I remember her telling at home that she had a friend who worked there. That happened a few times more over the next couple of months and kinda became like their once a month trip to get the things they needed.

Or, that was what we knew at home. Now I had my old phone smashed in a accident I had, so I lost both my reddit and the telegram account I used to chat with him, so I had lost contact with him for about a year. And because of this the thought of the loyalty test was also gone from my mind. A year or so later, earlier today, I get a whatsapp message from an unknown number asking me if I was 'my-old-username'. I was surprised who would know that and would have my number. I chose not to reply. Then got another message saying who he was. He mentioned his username. I immideately replied Hi then. And his reply literally blew my head off!

"Asshole! You sent me your mom's Facebook saying that's your co-worker! Who does that! I knew something was off, who does a loyalty test on their co-worker!"

I just replied, "What?"

He told me that last month she had asked him if he could help her son with an interview that he was preparing for, as he worked in that company. She must've been referring to an interview at a tech startup that I was preparing for, looking for better salary than my current role. What I did not know was that, even though close to my age (actually a couple of months younger than me), that guy was one of the senior tech leads in the company. Early caareer progression as the company grew, due to him being one of the founding team. She shared my CV and number with him to see if he could help him. When he put the number in his phone it immideately popped up my name. He did use his reference and apparently it was him that got me the job. Which I accepted jusst this a couple of weeks ago when I put in my notice at my current job. Which finished this past Friday and I have joined there since Monday (yesterday).

I obviously played dumb and said that he was mistaken, and he went on to tell me, that he had actually scored - and this time in real - with her around 8 months into me having introduced her. And that they've been seeing each other since over 2 years now. He said it took a lot of determination from his end, a lot of attention and a lot of assertiveness, but he felt something about mom that drove him to be determined enough to be with her no matter how hard it seemed. He then went on to say things like how much he enjoyed her company and really admired her as a person and adored her and what not. He even went on to say that mom feels the same about him too.

I said I don't buy it because if he'd had actually scored, he'd have posted about it online everywhere! Just like he posted about his other 'adventures'. His reply was :

"Oh! So that's what it's about.. You want to see! Hold on.."

And then he went away. No replies till about an hour later when he sent be a Google Drive link. I clicked on it, and it was full of pics and some clips of him and mom together. From normal pics of them together, to kissing, hugging etc, to full-on nudes, to pics of them doing all sorts of sexual things together. This was followed by these messages from him -

"I know you're not gonna share this with anyone, because if you leak this - I might just leak the fact that you asked me to get with her in the first place. I still have the chats."

"And for the same reason, you're not gonna do anything to put any hinderance or obstructionn in mine and Rose's relationship. Don't even think about telling your dad."

"Actually I'd say don't even bother about your dad in general, but I'll leave that upto you. But you better start getting used to treating me like that too."

"Because pretty soon I'm gonna be replacing him in this whole situation. And now you're gonna help me do this!"

"It'd be fun having you wish me "Good night dad!" as I take your mom into the bedroom. Hahaha!"

"Oh, and read the post-joining email you're about to receive in a couple of minutes from HR carefully. You've been assigned to my team. So be ready to report to me on time tomorrow and we'll discuss your duties & deliverables."

And now I have to face him tomorrow at my new job!
