About 5 minutes later, the paramedics brought me to another hospital. Within 2 days, I was put in an adolescent treatment facility.
On my 3rd day at the facility, I was shocked to see my mom in a conference room. I refused to speak with her since she abandoned me. She hugs me and I couldn't let go because I felt safe. She said I had to know her new husband more and meet his daughter. My counselor explained it would take a few months before I could be released.
About 2 weeks later, I met stepsister Morgan and got introduced to Brock Smith who was briefly my doctor and is my stepdad. I had a few weekend visits at home before I moved in with them. i met Morgan's BF Scott who became my best friend. I ended dating Scott's twin sister Callie.
