It Is That Easy To Get Pregnant
A new freshman, I went to a frat party. An older guy trapped me in a conversation in the kitchen. He escorted me to upstairs bathroom and stood guard.
When I came out he teased me and asked if I was commando. I didn't get it, so he asked to see if I wearing panties. We stepped into an empty bedroom and he closed the door. He pulled my jeans down, kissed my panties before pulling them down.
Only when he held my panties up did it cross my mind that I was completely at his disposal. Intercourse was quick, over and done. I had just lost my virginity, I knew nothing about him, I was not using birth control, nothing to protect me against an STD, not to mention my self esteem.
Finding out I got pregnant was a low day. Lonely day. I first confided in my roommate, then my sister. A day later my mother. It was more a surprise that I got pregnant, than the consequences. I told him, he immediately stated that abortion was not an option, that if marrying me was the immediate consequence, then so be it.
After lots of soul searching I decided that I would prefer to get married. Old fashioned, but for the sake if the baby. So I got married to the father. He told me on that day, there isn't an escape clause. I took a full year off before returning to school. We are still married, we have a second child and I'm a dedicated Mom. Not really where I thought I'd be when I first started college.
