Outgrowing Growing Up

OK so we should be nice to poor people. I spent a year in red neck heaven, jail in Georgia. Fuck poor people. I walked out and said never again. I worked at Walmart and went to night school. Then junior college and a waitress. And then a four year degree and a cashier at Piggly Wiggly. With my degree I became a management trainee at Piggly Wiggly.

Then Kroger's, I was on salary, with benefits. I had the keys and the passcodes. I had made it, 23 and on salary. I was living in a complex with white collar rich kids, kids who were rich growing up, and I was the red neck. The rich boys liked fucking a red neck.

I met this guy, he owned some rent houses, and a couple of 'tractors'. Trucks. He had real money. For a red neck. He was also a red neck. Basically all we did was fuck. Oh, and I found out my record had been expunged.

I went with a friend to a concert and we went home with these two guys. Red neck stuff. After that I decided I was done being a red neck. I changed jobs, no record, I got a job at a real company. Met a real guy, didn't fuck until the third date. Walked down the isle. Live in a track home, not a trailer park. Got sent overseas for two years, back to the States, then back overseas.

I learned enough French, could talk about this and that, never talked about growing up. Red neck is a state of mind. It takes a lifetime to overcome it. That and withholding sex, red necks fuck, nice girls don't. And that's a fact. Nice girls hold back.

The old saying around here is " Good girls get to stay home, Bad girls get to go EVERYWHERE"
