Maddening

Wife ALWAYS claims to be on her monthly ANYTIME I want to have sex with her. I don't even ask for it very often, but that doesn't seem to matter.

Should I call her out on what I KNOW is a lie? or just not bother and move on?

(I know sex isn't everything in a relationship, but when she's literally never into it, it's maddening.)

Always an asshole like Commenter #1 around ready to mock you.
Hey, Commenter #1, google this ! (crotch pull)

Yeah, pal, you got a problem.
She's not telling you something, and it's not her monthly I'm talking about.
You owe it to yourself to get the truth.
Life's too short, and there are plenty of women out there that want sex all the time.

Youre pretty young to be dealing with this. Its usually us guys in our 50-60s. Yea somethings going on and you need to confront her. If this is what your future holds I think I’d start looking at other options.

Commenters 2 and 3 are spot on.
I recently stumbled across something: the woman you marry, shouldn't be turning you down for sex. It shouldn't be a chore for her if she truly loves you. Everytime you initiate sex, she should be receptive to it because she loves you and wants you. If you're having to push for it, to ask for it, to even beg for it, there's something fundamentally wrong in your relationship. This goes for anyone else who is reading this who is in this situation.

For the women who might be reading this: if your man is constantly bugging you for sex and you turn him down, make a face. feel disgusted etc etc. Ask yourself why is this? Why do you feel this way when the man you supposedly love makes your skin crawl? If you genuinely loved your man you wouldn't need to make excuses not to make love or have sex. You'd do it because it makes you feel good as well.

So onto the third part of this reply: If you're having to initiate sex with her and she turns you down, she either finds you repulsive or she's getting it elsewhere (or both). Both stem from the same issue she has with you - she had a wild past and she's settled for you and life has become boring and she doesn't find you sexually attractive.

Talk to her, be direct and be prepared for the truth and move on. All the best, brother

I agree with the last 3 commentors. My sex life has slowed; but my wife and I are well into our 50's. Has your wife displayed any unusual habits? Is she working late more often or going out "with the girls" more frequently? Basically, is she finding reasons to not be with you?
On the positive side, she may be experiencing some medical condition where sex has become painful, a dry vagina, perhaps, and she is embarrassed to discuss it. On the negative side, she may have met someone who is treating her like a goddess and she adores the attention and the sex!
The only way to know is to ask! Talk with her; you may not like her answers, but the truth may lead you out of a bad situation. Best of luck!

Man I feel your pain, I’ve been married to a otherwise perfect wife for many years, she was beautiful and still is attractive for her age, almost as soon as we married it was like a light switch, we where in our 20’s and 30’s, she seemed to enjoy sex in the moment but could care less if she ever had it again, I got ever excuse in the book for years, finally when she was out of town I turned to a man on CL fir a bj, that day was life changing, he turned the tables on me in the shower, that day I was used by a very hung dom and I loved it, that was many years ago, I’m not saying it’s for everyone or even you, today many years later I’m str8 to the world but only a few men know I’m a gay submissive, I have a few kinks that I enjoy and I have all but give up on sex with the wife. I’m not advocating for this type of behavior but men have needs and it’s just sex for me and she really doesn’t want it, the others on here seem to believe your wife is playing around on you, I have no Idea but she may just not enjoy it, I tried everything to get my wife interested, it just didn’t work

You're 36. Do you want to see the end of your sex life?

My wife did similar and Im still with her. But you can't be expected to refrain. Go and get a mistress or several.

Your marriage can survive as long as you don't make any poor mistakes

I had this issue with my wife a few years ago, and we were both fairly young (34 & 35) at the time, and I held it in until one day I blew up. Basically told her either she gives me pussy or I'm getting elsewhere. She broke down and cried and cried, but when we both settled down the truth came out. Sex for her had become painful. Turns out she had some issues with her pelvic floor getting weak as she aged. She did physical therapy at a place that specializes in women's health, and a few months later we were having sex regularly.
Not saying this is the issue is your case, but definitely try to find out the root cause before you blow up like I did.
