Some Mysteries Have No Answer

I ran away from home and was robbed at a McDonalds. I was sitting outside, against the garbage enclosure, starving, half asleep. A man tapped me on the shoulder. I had nothing to hide and I told him my backpack had been stolen and I was hungry. He gave me money but I told him they wouldn't let me in the restaurant. He asked me to get in his car and we went through the drive through and he stopped in the parking lot so I could eat.

He noticed me fidgeting, he put a jacket around my shoulders and hustled me into the bathroom. After we were back in the car he told me he was driving me home. The drive took over ten hours. We arrived early in the morning.

After a long discussion with my parents he told them he didn't want to hear about me leaving again. He agreed to send them five hundred a month to help support me. He checked in every week, after talking to my parents he talked to me. For my birthday he sent a present, same for Christmas, the first time I got real earrings. Eventually I graduated and he waited for me to exit the gym. He hugged me like a long lost lover, it caught ne by surprise. I was 18, a fully developed woman.

That summer he had me apply to a dozen universities. I was accepted on probation in the Appalachians, far from home. After two years I transferred to State and graduated in four years.

This time I hugged him like a long lost lover. He engulfed me and returned the hug. Another discussion with my parents. He had waited eight years. He was now 32, and he didn't want to wait any longer. My parents were reluctant to give me to him. Resentment, fear, jealousy, they didn't like the idea of me going away with him. I wasn't, I wanted to go, get married.

On my wedding day I wore the first set of earrings he gave me for my birthday. We went on honeymoon to a club in the Caribbean. We returned to his house he had bought for when he got married.

I don't go to McDonalds, I never went after the day he found me. I never dated anyone, I knew I was going to marry him when I grew up. I immediately had a baby, I had been thinking of it for eight years. My parents had to learn to accept him, it took them a long time before acknowledging that he had brought me home.

No one has ever answered the question, why did he get INVOLVED?

He got involved because he is a good man. You’ve got a keeper in him.

every person has an angel sent from heaven.. sometimes they don’t need to show their faces.. sometimes we reject them …because we are stubin animals that don’t want to be corralled .. sometimes we are fortunate enough .. to be open and in need and accept yur Angels… sometimes they just passed bye, help and move on… I want to believe this is a true story… where your angel smiled at you.. are you recognise them from when you both left heaven gates to enter the world ..:)

Has anyone else noticed these types of stories written lately?
It follows the same plot: a woman, lost, lonely, young, uneducated finds someone who's older, richer, wiser and puts her through college while showering her with g*fts, a lifestyle etc. Then when she's finished comes along to marry her and pump out babies. At first she questions his motives but then submits.
