Things I Wished I Hadn't Seen

Due to several house burglaries in my mother’s rural neighbourhood, I installed security cameras around and in her house. They trigger with movement, and I can view all footage directly from the cloud on my phone or laptop. Thankfully, nothing happened at my mother’s house, and after several months I went into the cloud video footage to do some housekeeping and delete files.

I have three daughters Jessica is 15, Emma 18 and Katie 19. As Granny lives locally, they will often visit and sometimes spend the night. They’re good at telling us where they are if they are not coming home. I’m pretty sure that after heavy drinking (they say they don’t but I know they do), they go to granny’s rather than face coming home and getting a lecture.

I watched some of the video files. Mostly Postman, Amazon, and grocery deliveries. It felt almost voyeuristic; God like to be watching mortals in their daily endeavours. Then the first shock. Katie arrives after midnight with a boy man. They are kissing in the porch area, and its obvious he wants to come in; I only had images no sound. I could tell from Katie’s body language that she didn’t want him in the house, I thought good girl. I watched for about five minutes as they kissed and he fondled her boobs. However, I noticed another file with a time stamp immediately after, but from a camera at the rear of the property.

This file started as the security light triggered and I watched as Katie and this male person crept around the border of the garden to the summer house. I watched them enter and Katie get on the floor with bastard guy on top of her. Before the security lights went out, I clearly saw him removing Katies underwear and she removed his jeans and boxers. I could only just make out a very grainy images of movement after the lights turned off, I knew for certain though she was being fucked. I was shocked, I wished she did those things in a car or hotel room; however, given her age I chose not to confront her.

I then went through all the files looking for what my girls had been up to. Thankfully, nothing more from Katie or Emma, just calling around to see Granny. On the last batch, my mother had been staying with her sister, so both the internal and external cameras were primed unless a security code and or an electronic key is used. The camera will pick up somebody outside, but if the code or electronic key is used, the internal cameras will not trigger. Jessica called around on a Sunday afternoon. She has always been a bit of a Tom Boy and hangs around with a few lads her own age. Behind her back, we sometimes refer to her as ‘Eleven’ from the ‘Stranger Things’ TV series, plus the lads she hangs around with are all massive geeks. I assumed she had forgotten Granny was away, and I thought it was nice she had brought the 3 lads to visit granny. No idea how this happened, I think because Jessica had entered the code but didn’t have the electronic key it confused the system and the internal camera triggered anyway.

I will summarize what I saw. My daughter and the three lads sat around the front room for about ten minutes, drinking cans of something; as they occasionally moved, the cameras continued recording. Then my daughter took her jeans off, and the three lads followed suit and sat on my mother’s couch. Over the next half an hour, I watched as she gave blowjobs to all three whilst being groped. What the fuck to do. If I tell my wife, it will be all my fault for having the security system installed in the first place, and then to be lectured about watching the tapes.
