I Saw On YouTube Channel AskReddit...

A guy were he was 23 and said he went to jail when he was 21 because he was sexting without pictures with a 14 year old boy.
I felt weird because when i was 26 i was sexting with a 14 year old as well. That happened a few times and then we stopped. It happened once. I never sexting with another minor since then.
I mean if things were turned out differently i could be in jail too?

When I was starting college I went out with a 14 yo and we groped. Things were different then, people didnt think it was criminal or anything and she didnt feel abused or taken advantage of, it was a date just like with an 18 yo.

I've seen something similar to M's story in one of those Reddit to Youtube clips where the voice reads it out. It was from the POV of the minor and he said he was having the time of his life (what 14 yr old boy wouldn't?) but things got weird when the other party (a 28 yr old woman) started showing shots of her ticket coming to visit him. He quickly uninstalled all the messenger apps he was using. And she never made contact
So to answer your question, M, it's quite likely you'd go to prison and be on some sex offenders' register

About 20 years ago a purchaser I had dealt with for a few years and I are talking and he mentions he's away on vacation for the next two weeks. Seemed legit enough, around 30 guy, talked often, getting to know each other. The usual convo. ...doing anything or going away? Tells me yes traveling to meet someone, tell him, cool enjoy it talk soon.
About 3 weeks go by, I'm talking with the owner Dave, mention I haven't spoken with "X" since before his vacation. He tells me very matter of factly, "got of a plane in another state, was immediately taken and arrested" Turns out he had been on some site chatting to a cop pretending to be a 14 yr old girl. He makes plans to meet her for sex.
It gets worse, he flew from Canada into the U.S. to have sex with a 14 year old. Crossing into another country takes it to another level.
This guy is probably still in jail being someone's bitch. Careful what you wish for
