does it really matter that i am 17 and my man is 27? i mean when i first told my mom about us she said "it's about time." everyone knew jon and i were gonna hook up but everyone thought we would wait till i was 18. but my WHOLE FAMILY absolutely loves him and are so glad we are together. and they have accepted him and his kids into our family. my sister calls him her brother in law and the kids call my mom NINI short for granny they have called my brother uncle since i first met my man. my dad takes him hunting fishing and hangs out with him... i hope no one thinks this is bad But then again everyone is messed up on this site.

not that it matters but you refered to "this state," but never said which it was. My guess; Indiana and your up in them there hills. O and 10 yrs isn't too many but you are a little young to not be out there sampling others to make sure.

I think it's great! I'm 25, and my boyfriend is 48. We've been together 3 years. You can make it work. :)
