Doing My Thing, Glad I'm Doing The Woman Thing

I'm 32 now and have had a chance to think this out. But first, I was born a girl with all that entails. But I spent a lot of useless time defending how lucky you are to be born here, healthy, home and female. I learned to keep my mouth shut and not disagree with the patriarchy activist. But time is on my side.

I cook because I love cooking for my family. I grew up in the kitchen, it doesn't scare me. I could get the groceries, make the weekly menu, cook full meals, prepare lunches and after school snacks by the time I was fourteen. I loved it, fixing my brother's school lunch was the boost I needed to go to school.

I had no problem with my body. not as a child or a teen. Not as a woman. Women are so beautiful, and appreciating myself in my birthday suit made me feel good. I never wanted to be a guy. The other thing I never had a problem with was menstruation. It came and went, never interfered with anything I did. I never felt embarrassed or shamed. In fact I never talked to a girl who felt shamed. I don't get it.

But in college I was all wrong. I was never attacked by males, but was relentlessly attacked by women. Being a woman was some sort of punishment by males, especially older males. And male sympathizers were the worst. How could they possibly know what it's like to be a woman. Save me, and keep your mouth shut. So I kept to myself up, kept them out of my life.

As to sex. Between the sexes, females have it pretty good. Sex gas anticipation, joining, and afterglow. Men seem to go from zero to a hundred and bang they go to sleep. Let me lay in the afterglow, it is the woman in me. I fall asleep soon enough, in euphoria by my side. What the Greeks called being with Morpheus. I always rewarded my man by serving him a good breakfast, you know, feed him.

Get along and get pregnant. Grow a baby within you. Give birth. Nurse your baby. That is the whole reason you are female, you have your period, you are instinctively a nurturer. It's all natural, from the moment of conception to the first latching of your baby on your nipple. I don't understand the antibirthing women. I don't. It's like they are intentionally cutting off their legs and claiming they are better off because they can't walk.

I'm pretty glad God chose me the way I am. I am both a wife and a mother. I can cook, and like cooking for my family and ensuring their health and well being. My husband has his set of skills, I would never willingly give up mine.

Yes, women rule, beside a man, and that is God's wish for all mankind.
