Guess I Dodged A Bullet

An ex of mine, who I once immensely respected, has become someone I don't even recognize, and not for the better.

In retrospect, seeing the woman she is now, I'm actually glad we didn't stay together. That's not me trying to be cruel, but facts are what facts are.

Similar for me , I was with a girl I met from Ashington in Northumberland , 14 years I loved her with all my heart and I paid for everything she wanted r neeeded for over a decade when she didn’t work and i still paid her bills and more even when she was working and earning her own money , and I mean everything , but it was all a lie and she was just using me for money , never cared for me in the slightest and I was a complete blind fool , literally within weeks she had done most of the things that the person I loved would have been appalled and disgusted by ,it took a while for me to realise I’m actually glad she’s gone out of my life , I’m so much better off without her lies and deceptions and I will not lift another finger to help her even if she was dying , sometimes like with Karen Henderson of Ashington it’s better to move on and forget the cold heartless lying shallow unfeeling slag ⭐️
