What Is It That Draws You To A Man Who You Should Leave Alone?
My mother was abandoned before I was born. She worked at a low paying clerical job. We were poor, on government assistance. My mother was never happy, she never forgave my father. At my first office job I found out that this man supported and cared for his mother, who had been abandoned by his father. I suppose that it wasn't love I felt for him, before even meeting him.
He was anything but friendly to me. And he told me more than once he didn't agree with women working in men's jobs. I was working as a clerk for the security office of the company. Women should never take a man's job away. Several months later he told me that I was a fine looking woman and he invited me to meet his mother. So she could teach me how to cook.
He was served hand and foot by his mother and she corrected me more than once. Serve a man over his left shoulder, in case he had to defend me his right arm and hand was free to act. Test the temperature of his coffee, it should be hot but not burn his lips. And never interrupt him. Etc.
He grabbed my shoulder telling his mother that I had been pursuing him at the office. Not true. While his mother wash showing me how to slice his piece of cake and place it on his plate, he 'goosed' me, grabbing my ass. I yelled and before he could raise his arm, slapped him. I failed the test, his mother didn't like me.
I went on to be his office girlfriend, learned that office girls kept her man happy on her knees, his zipper down. Sex was often, mostly 'nooners' at my place which was close to the office. I arrived at work as virgin as I could be and became the office lover of this man because he took care of his mother. My mother didn't 'understand'. What did one thing have to do with the other? Nothing really, but he had laid hands on me and I felt obligated to him. Even when his mother didn't like me.
Feeling obligated to a man is a real deep feeling. It's not 'love', it's stronger.
